🟢 Accounts & Syncing
Do I need an account to use OGTV+?
No. You can use OGTV+ in Guest Mode. This allows you to watch all channels and even save a Watchlist without ever signing in.
How does Google Login work?
We use Google for a "One-Click" secure login. We do not see your Google password. We only receive your email and name to create your OGTV+ profile, which allows your Watchlist to follow you across different devices (e.g., from your Phone to your PC).
Where is my "Watchlist" stored?
* Guest Mode: Your list is stored in your browser's LocalStorage. If you clear your browser cache or change devices, your list will be lost. Logged-in (Google): Your list is stored on our secure servers. You can log in on any device to see your saved channels instantly.
📺 Using the Custom Player
What makes the OGTV+ Player different?
We use a proprietary custom player designed specifically for HLS/IPTV streams. It provides a unified interface regardless of the stream source, ensuring that controls like Volume, Fullscreen, and Picture-in-Picture work consistently across the site.
The video is buffering or won't play. Why?
Since we do not host the content, playback quality depends on the source broadcaster's server. Check your connection: Ensure you have a stable internet speed. Geo-Restricted Content: Some channels only allow viewers from specific countries. Broken Links: Streams can go offline. If a channel fails to load after 10 seconds, it may be temporarily down.
How do I use Picture-in-Picture (PiP)?
Our custom player supports PiP on compatible browsers. Click the PiP icon in the control bar to pop the video out into a floating window so you can browse other tabs while watching.
⚙️ Technical Questions
How does OGTV+ use Google Analytics?
We use it to see which channels are popular and which regions our users are visiting from. This helps us prioritize which streams to keep updated. All data is anonymized.
How do I delete my data?
* If you are a Guest: Simply clear your browser cookies and site data. If you are logged in: Send an email to thegeek.og@gmail.com from your registered Google email address with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will wipe your account and watchlist from our servers within 72 hours.
